Law Firm

Warsaw

Our office at Spektrum Tower, 18 Twarda Street, is our point of contact with central institutions, courts, and corporate clients. From here, we handle matters where an on-site presence matters: hearings, negotiations, and transaction meetings.

Warsaw is where the regulatory and contentious aspects of our practice are concentrated. The National Appeals Chamber (KIO) and the Public Procurement Office are based here, as is the public procurement court, along with central government authorities, executive agencies, and regulators with whom our clients communicate on a daily basis. In the capital, we also handle transactions — corporate due diligence, investment agreements, and M&A processes — as well as technology projects where, alongside the contract, compliance with data protection and artificial intelligence regulations must be designed.

The Warsaw office operates in two modes: on an ad hoc basis, when a client needs representation in a specific proceeding, and as part of ongoing legal support, where we provide day-to-day advice on contracts, documentation, and management board decisions.

Legal Support in Warsaw

From our Warsaw office, we serve clients from two environments that rarely meet in their day-to-day operations: public institutions and businesses. This dual perspective is deliberate — a lawyer who has prepared documentation on the contracting authority's side reads a contract presented to a contractor differently, while an adviser familiar with the realities of a company can communicate more effectively with public administration. Meetings take place at Spektrum Tower or at the client's premises, while most day-to-day work is carried out remotely.

Litigation and Administrative Proceedings

In Warsaw, we handle matters involving central government administration: proceedings before ministries and executive agencies, appeals against administrative decisions, complaints to provincial administrative courts, and cassation appeals to the Supreme Administrative Court. A separate area is public procurement — appeals and interventions before the National Appeals Chamber (KIO) and complaints to the Regional Court in Warsaw acting as the public procurement court.

We also represent clients in commercial disputes involving payment, proper performance of contracts, contractual penalties, and remuneration indexation. Before commencing court proceedings, we always check whether negotiations or mediation could produce a faster result. In the public sector, a settlement may be procedurally more difficult, but for both parties it can be less costly than several years of litigation.

Transactions, Corporate Law, and New Technologies

The Warsaw office handles corporate transactions: due diligence, investment agreements and shareholders' agreements, transformations and mergers, as well as ongoing corporate governance — resolutions, corporate approvals, and management board liability. When selling a business or an organized part of an enterprise, we monitor not only the price but also what happens to public contracts, decisions, and permits, which do not always transfer automatically to the buyer.

Technology projects account for a growing part of our work: implementation and licensing agreements, personal data processing arrangements, obligations arising from artificial intelligence regulations, and ESG reporting. We advise both solution providers and institutions purchasing them — often under public procurement rules, which significantly affects the way contracts are negotiated.
